Carbon footprint reporting

Every shipment gets a CO2e value the moment it ships.

The formula

We use the GLEC Framework v3.0 (global standard, aligned with GHG Protocol Scope 3 Cat. 4 + 9).

CO2e = mass (tonnes) × distance (km) × factor (kg CO2e per tonne-km)

The factors

Modekg CO2e / tonne-km
Parcel ground0.075
Parcel air1.350
LTL truck0.090
FTL truck0.062
Air freight0.780
Ocean container0.012
Ocean bulk0.007
Rail0.022
Intermodal0.034

If you have a verified carrier-specific factor, email compliance@atlasbridgelogistics.com.

Where you see it

  • Shipment detail — every shipment shows its CO2e
  • Insights → Sustainability — monthly CO2e by mode, top lanes, YoY trend
  • APIco2e_kg on every shipment object
  • WebhooksPARCEL_LABEL_PURCHASED payload includes co2e_kg

Exporting for ESG

Dashboard → Insights → Sustainability → Export CSV — works with Watershed, Persefoni, Sweep.
